Rocco Super Smart Mini Fridge (Spec Piece)

Client: Rocco is an innovative solution for people in need of visually-appealing, compact, energy-efficient beverage storage.

Objective: Rocco is new to the market. So they needed an email campaign to get the word out about their product and drive people to the sales page to ultimately increase revenue.

Audience: Young professionals ages 25-40, primarily living in city apartments with active social lives.

Subject Line: Not Your Average Appliance

Snippet Preview: The Latest Dinner Party Essential

Strategy: Rocco’s branding focuses on togetherness and the social aspect of drinking (alcohol or not). I positioned the fridge as a friend that anyone would want at their party, and turned the features into human traits.
I played with the word “chill” to refer to the temperature of the fridge and also the atmosphere of a get-together with close friends.
